Public bug reported:

When ever I download a Ubuntu or Kubuntu Alternate CD, it always
recieves corrupt packages, and interfers with the installation. During
installation, it always says that some files are corrupt, or it can't
download the package.

I just want to know:
-Does anyone else get this problem, or is it karma?

-Does the regular Desktop Install CD have his problem?

-Do I need an internet connection to install Ubuntu?
