Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nautilus-cd-burner
In feisty, nautilus-cd-burner 2.18.0-0ubuntu1 depends on the now-obsolete
'mkisofs' package.
I think this should be changed to "genisoimage" for feist (or set
"mkisofs|genisoimage") so that
either package will satisfy the dependancy.
For reference here --
I wonder if this behaviour relates to the debconf-priority setting...
Does the package install in debian (upstream of ubuntu) and automatically
instigate the debconf questions etc.?

The attached debdiff (qpsmtpd_0.32-3ubuntu1.debdiff) simply adds the 3

I understand that for changing debian/, changing the files directly is
better than using a dpatch, Hence this is a simple debdiff.

On further investigation, the Ubuntu-Feisty version of genisoimage (9:1.1.0-1)
running on edgy also does not have this problem!
I understand genisoimage is a fork of mkisofs now used in preference to mkisofs
in etch and edgy.
I.e. This problem is edgy specific as far as I can tell!

mkisofs
On further investigation, the group given to /var/run/qpsmtpd by this
package-from-debian in dapper+edgy+feisty is actually "adm" and not
"qpsmtpd" (Not sure how I made that mistake!).
The debian/qpsmtpd.postinst uses:-
RUNAS=qpsmtpd
PIDDIR=/var/run/qpsmtpd
dpkg-statoverride --update --add "$RU
As far as I can see this is indeed a regression somewhere (e.g. with one
of the patches that has been applied or some associated library).
In the manpage supplied with mkisofs in edgy:-
-allow-lowercase This options allows lower case characters to appear in
iso9660 filenames. This violates
I can see what needs patching as-above (very simple really), but I need
to know in what form to create a patch (i.e. where to put the source-
tree directories w.r.t. each other with what names and any special flags
on diff to use).
Will somebody point me at relevant help/information on this?
