Had the same bug on a dual boot mint15/win7 system. Only occured when
win7 was hybernated and partition could not be mounted in mint.
Unchecking show bookmarks and places in menu options fixed the issue

I have a similar problem on an Asus G1S. Sometimes it can resume from
suspend just fine and other times it just cant resume. Seems to always
fully suspend either way though...
