I've downloaded the latest xfwm 4.13 with XPresent support from this ppa
https://launchpad.net/~xubuntu-dev/+archive/ubuntu/experimental , but it did
not work. Instead I got this error:
(xfwm4:712): xfwm4-WARNING **: 14:40:45.838: Dismissing XPresent as unusable,
error 3
I'm not a developer or a programmer of any kind, so I may be wrong, but
why is it not possible to just make the resizing area not the border
itself but something like a 5 pixel area around the border?

/var/log/messages shows:
Unable to identify CD-ROM format.
/etc/fstab entry:
/dev/scd0 /media/cdrom0 udf,iso9660 user,noauto 0 0
mount /dev/scd0 /media/cdrom0/ -t udf
works fine.
