as i mentioned it is a hard freeze, so there is not way to do
something, because keyboard and screen are locked!
so no ctrl-alt-f1 possible!
also these freezes appear randomly!
and crazy colors on the screen every time...

The 'Filesystem' item in Places menu has gone without any reason as i clicked
on it(i was using it before successfully), but it is still displayed in
Nautilus (places),
how comes and how to fix that?

hello, I have the same issue with totem and banshee(gstreamer),
the stream is:

error message in terminal:

1.) can you reproduce this issues?
gst-launch -m playbin uri="mms\://broadcast01.station.ru/rusradio"
that it works, and
gst-launch -m playbin uri="mmsh\://broadcast01.station.ru/rusradio"
does not.
2.) and if you can reproduce it, can you confirm this report?

places menu, items like drives(for example: floppy drive, hard drives),
for some reason my places menu in nautilus has one more item
'Filesystem'(points to /) in the second drive's section as the places
menu in gnome-panel, is the
i mean there are no steps to reproduce. this item just has gone once and
that is all, if u want log files, just ask me...so i have two different
places menus at the moment...(in nautilus and places menu)-> one item
less in gnome-panel(paces menu)

i have the same issue as described abode, that the layout seted up in
System-Preferences->Keyboard holds till the next restart...
as a workaround i have modified xorg file
original:

ok the issue with deadkeys is solved as a workaround too, as i have just
tested with "setxkbmap de,ru -variant nodeadkeys," in terminal and it
worked so,
new setting in xorg file:

Option "XkbRules" "xorg"
