Unless this bug can be confirmed with somebody else having the EXACT
same problem, I think it's safe to disregard. I reinstalled Windows
temporarly, and found that it now has the same problem (before I
installed Ubuntu, Windows worked good, but now it has the same problem
as well), my conclusion is

alsamixer & sound settings & my speakers have everything turned all the way up,
but the volume is still very quiet.
Since this is a desktop, I am using the headphone jack to plug up my speakers.
The speakers have their own AC power source.
