Yes, that is a nice feature. But my problem is, that I actually supplied
a .conf that it also seems to read, but ignores its content !?

There seems to be an error in X.org version 1.3.0 on my Ubuntu 7.10
system.
I have an approx 20 pixels black border at the left of my screen when I
boot up in Linux on my dual boot system. In Windows the screen is
aligned correctly.
