No, I could fix it very soon after this post with a trick I found in
another post. Something about restarting the xserver more often than
necessary.

I got the same problem with an nvidia card, i.e., logging out from a
second session makes the system crash. KDE just won't take any events
anymore.
I think there is connection to antoher bug, let me look up the number.

I got the same problem. I can't logout properly from my kde sessions.
Also using an nvidia card if that has anything to do with it.

I experienced a complete system crash after starting the upgrad edgy to
feisty. Now I cannot boot anymore and (sniff) have to resort to windows
to add to this bug list. I do not even know how to retrieve any log
files or personal data which went down with my system.
