Impact: Many users are reporting issues with bios corruption with 17.10.
This seems to stem from enabling the intel-spi-* drivers in the kernel,
which don't appear to be ready for use on end-user machines.
Fix: Disable this driver.
Toshiba satellite s50-b-13g is corrupted as well i cant enter bios or
boot selection menu , and can't boot from usb, but ubuntu system works
fine

A little detail I can provide is, when a flash video freezes in one of
the Firefox tabs, switching to another tab and switching back to the
flash video tab makes the video continue (not from the second it froze.
Even though the display is frozen, the video continues to play in the
background).
