I can easily get over 1.0 gb after I click on the "Ubuntu Dash" (my personal
record was 1.8 gb, and considering that I'm using just 2gb of RAM that's not a
pleasant thing).
14.10 too.

I just wrote a python skript which removes all defect entries (which have no
duration tag) from rhythmbox's database. Store the script to your home
directory, close rhythmbox and open a terminal. Run the following commands:
chmod u+x repairRhythmDb.py
./repairRhythmDb.py
mv .local/share/rhythmbox
Ubuntu 14.04 32bit also is affected by the bug. I use Rhythmbox 3.0.2
and about 1/3 of my music library is shown as length "unknown". When I
look into the rhytmdb.xml the titles with unknown length don't have a
-tag.
I removed the rhythmdb.xml and started rhythmbox from scratch with a
music librar
I also want to confirm that it is really bad to install the newest ubuntu to
end up with an very outdated version of latex.
Although I have no idea of maintaining packages I also want to vote for a
simple way of installing an up-to-date version of latex.

It took me 2 day's to figure out, that I have entered the stocks symbol

Sorry, everything is working as expected.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnucash
In Karmic gnucash is not able to retrieve stock quotes, although
finance::quote works perfectly:
~$ gnc-fq-dump yahoo IFX.DE
Finance::Quote fields Gnucash uses:

Great idea, that way it works. So only the Test-Button is not working
the expected way.
However things are worse now: After enabeling xinerama-Mode via
displayconfig-gkt there is a reproducible way to freeze my laptop:
Steps to make the freeze occur:
1) Start displayconfig-gtk with sudo -rights

If I apply/test this setting it looks good, because I see a gray background on

There might be lots of hdc-related error messages (lost interrupt, confused

Using the same Stick/Cable/Port with installed Dapper works fine.
My Digital Camera is recognized by Edgy as expected: No remounts.
So for me it seems to be a Software problem with Edgy, which occures
with this USB-Stick.

I followed the instructions in the wiki. All files include one
