One more try! I have tried to print a page from a lightweight pdf (69.9
kB) file of 7 pages from evince. The result of the test was successful.
It has been with Ubuntu 13.10 64-bits and Ubuntu 13.10 32-bits.

Dear Till
Do not waste time with my problem. I researched the file
"cups_problem.txt" and the failure to operate the printer in Ubuntu
10.04 and 11.04 and I finded that the cable is broken. Therefore, It is
not a problem with "cups" but a connection problem. A new cable has
fixed the problem.

I use Ubuntu 10.04 and recently I have update "cups". Before the update
process I printed a page, after the update process I tried to print
another one and the dialog about printer and state is "unplugged or
turned off"; however the printer is obviously plugged and turned on.
The most useful thing is that you use "bug report" to report the bug.
