System can't restart if user removes usb key and press restart after
installation is done.
Step:
1) Install Ubuntu from USB key
2) Installation is done and Installation is complete. You need to start the
computer in order to use the new installation. has shown.

I finally managed to solve the issue.
As everybody pointed out, I first needed to remove the webupd8team ppas.
After that, I had to downgrade the ligblib library and that's what was
causing me a lot of trouble. The system didn't let me remove that
library because of all the dependencies. I

There might be race condition between plymouth-splash and plymouth-stop.
Normally the calling sequence should be:
plymouth
...
plymouth-splash
...
plymouth-stop
On the fail unit it looks like:
plymouth
...
plymouth-stop
...
plymouth-splash
Therefore the splash screen can't

~/.local/share/zeitgeist/ with the commands

consider, that the initial state of screen-brightness should not be on
'minimum' as on newer lenovo-notbooks the minimum is 'darkness':
