I have the same problem. I'm runing Ubuntu 13.04 on a ext4 partition and
it works perfectly. However, when copying files between two external
hard drives, I notice 2 mount.ntfs processes running and one of them

Does renaming the file fixes the issue?, I have had similar issues on my
NTFS external drive, which some mp3 files name with some characters like
: or ? did open in windows nor I could rename it and it works fine in
Ubuntu...

It seems that this feature has been reversed, before the snapping was
default, and was avoided by pressing the shift key while moving the
window. The way to fix this is by checking the option Snap Inverted in
your CompizConfig Settings Manager's Wobbly settings..

Same effect, I think its because in Gnome 2.26.1 it uses color to see
what tabs/files/folders etc.. is in focus (see attachment).. In Ubuntu
8.10 it used to use doted lines around the tab and now it uses
colors.

Yes, it keeps having the same issue.. Another annoying thing that I
found is that when there's a lot or few files in a folder in list view
you try to drag and drop one file, and the whole window turns pink.

I was trying to install iroffer-dinoex 3.11 (http://iroffer.dinoex.net/) from
source, at the terminal i got the following message by running ./Configure -e:
config.temp.c:17: error: missing terminating character
I contacted the developer via IRC which we start debugging the
Miloš Mandarić, I already stated in the description what version of
ubuntu i am running. I was told by the developer of iroffer-dinoex to
run ./Configure -e to see where the actual problem relies, i guess the
-e stands for errors. I did tried with ./Configure first but since there
was an error,
i also have this issue, i have mounted a hard drive (250GB) and it's
mounted on /media/HD2/ and also shows These files are on a Picture CD.

That would have added the VID/PID to the ftdi_sio driver too, but it's

You have to edit the ftdi_sio driver and recompile it.
A hint:
