Thanks Colin post #76 Worked for me after my previous changes stopped
working. This was caused by an update to pm-utils 1.4.1-3ubuntu1 which
undid my previous changes.

Hi Miroslav,
Thanks for help. I already had wireless. I've rename it "wireless.old"
and made new one. I can confirm this works OK now.
Running on latest pm-utils now and working on battery power.

Hi I can confirm have the same problem. I swapped my OEM network card
for an Intel 4695AGN and machine would crash under battery power, unless
wi-fi turned off.
Downgrading pm-utils to 1.3.0 has solved it for me.
Running 10.10 with 2.3.36 kernel.

Tried running latest Kernel 2.6.36 RC 6 but bug still present. Now
running final 64bit release of Maverick on my Dell Inspiron 1501 with
4gb ram and logs are still being filled with this error.

but it didn't work for me.

I can confirm it's there in Maverick, as well. Running 10.10 RC on same laptop
and get following message flooding my logs

I have to use "nomodeset" in grub command but get login prompt, can't do
