(in greyscale all works perfectly).

One don't need compile foo2zjs from source. foo2zjs normaly works in
ubuntu, but haven't firmware. It's only needed for firmware download and
install. If you compile foo2zjs from source, you can catch a problems
after next upgrade.
Simple script for donwload and install firmware:
I installed gutenprint 5.2.2 from source (from cvs). Printing is a bit
better now but not as in Gutsy and Hardy.

I tried to remove all gutenprint related packages (5.2.0-rc1) and
installed it from hardy (5.0.2). It's work! Now printer work perfectly!

openoffice (or smth. else) was fuzzy (vague?).

My solution for ntp-servers request from DHCP server (Ubuntu 8.04.1):
1) add 'ntp-servers' to the 'request' in /etc/dhcpd3/dhclient.conf;
2) change 'NTPDATE_USE_NTP_CONF=yes' to NTPDATE_USE_NTP_CONF=no in
/etc/default/ntpdate;
3) execute 'sudo ntpdate-debian' for testing.

Policy in our company based on Posix LDAP groups. We are using Ubuntu 7.04
Feisty but several machines have updated to Hardy (8.04) for testing. And we
have catched policy problem with it. LDAP PosixGroup policy does not work
anymore.
