I've just tried 9.04 final and this is not fixed. The thing is: With a vanilla kernel 2.6.28 sound doesn't work on this laptop (upstream problem). With a vanilla 2.6.29 sound works. So the fixes need to be backported. For example, openSUSE (and SLED) have backported the fixes to 2.6.27. I'll
