Ubuntu developers are not interested to fix anything that has to do with kde.
I don't know where the problem is, but it seems when they can't copy &
past the patches from debian, they have no idea how to fix things.

I have the AMD64 version installed.
When someone can tell me which lib is used for the checking of the the

Yes, the only thing that never show a prompt is update/install packages.
I checked the source code (kde update manager) yesterday, but I don't know much
about KDE-Libs.
There is a if that checks something with a *transaction and is this not true
the error message will be displayed.

I've installed Ubuntu hardy (last version). When I log in into gnome, I get the
message my CPU can't use the cool n' quiet mode.
