I had the same problem with Karmic. I installed sbackup, made some test backup
and restore,
and maybe i made an error. Because permission from /tmp was changed from 1777
to 0755 :-),
i changed back permission from /tmp to 1777 ( rwxrwxrwt ) and now all works
fine again.

Version 1.68.0 of k3b cannot create bootable iso-image. If i try to create a
non-bootable iso-image, all is fine.
But trying create bootable iso-image, always fails. The error-message is always
the same= cannot determine
size of resulting image

I can't believe, but it is working now for me without problems.
The important entries in /etc/cups/printers.conf are
AuthInfoRequired none
and
DeviceURI smb://username:passw...@server/share
username and password must be an existing
account on server.

Hi, i can not believe, but this bug is present than more as one year.
Printing from Firefox, evince or gedit did not work, from Acroread Reader
printing was ok.
All solutions did not work for me, without lpadmin 'printername' -o
auth-info-required=none
or restarting cups after printing.
