So When I switched to gnome and tried running apport-collect 1273826 .
It wouldnt run from my home directory. It only ran when I was in the
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu directory .
This gave me a clue that there was some system library that was not in
my LD_LIBRARY_PATH. Once I added /usr/lib/x86_64-
Ill have to run in gnome since apport-collect does not run with above
errors reported...will run in gnome and report back

I am trying with 13.10 and the command that used to work with 13.04 has
now stopped working. I tried with sec=lanman,ntlm,ntlmv2 and it either
does not work and gives the useless error
mount error(13): Permission denied

Checked my path --and I did have a lurking Rdkit installation messing
things up.
The deb installed rdkit works fine once I cleaned up my path .

I am running compiz with 195 series nvidia driver as well on an nvidia
Quadro 3800. My AMD64 system with 16GB RAM slows to a crawl after two
days of use if compiz is enabled. Screen refreshes on Worskspace changes
take 3-5 seconds to redraw. Mouse clicks take 3-5 seconds to be
recognized.

The jockey-gtk has green buttons listing the proprietary nvidia drivers that
are present in the system . The documentation Help says you should be able to

it in a while. SO mu install still had this bug. fixing it allows me to
start scripting again
