Lenovo Ideapad Y450 with a GT-240M video card.
I installed ubuntu 12.04 LTS and i got exactly the six screens as mentioned
above.
Also the FN brightness button doesn't dim the screen brightness!

Just did a fresh install of ubuntu 10.04. (01mar2011)
And still Empathy is failing to connect with QQ.
Before it helped to change qq2005 into qq2008, but this now also didn't work.
(be careful with trying to connect to often, i lost my previous account
with doing so)

Just did a fresh install of Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.
The same problem appears, shut off will hang with the ubuntu logo on the screen.
The only way to off the pc is to press the 'on' button for a few seconds.
Just made this clear, it doesn't work.

After shut down the computer, the pc doesn't switch off automaticly.
Need to do that by pressing the on button.
