Sorry not to update for so long. This problem has ceased to occur on my
system, however I can't remember when. I know I did a fresh install last
summer, and I had no problems since. However this specific problem might
have gone away prior to the install as well. Thanks for the help!

Sorry to not have been posting more often. :S I have the same situation
as Erektium: I only have one computer, so doing the backtrace doesn't
seem to be an option for me...
Also, I haven't observed the problem in at least a full week, possibly
two, though it has been very erratic in the months sin

Martin, I installed the -proposed versions of Avahi on 05/01/2008 and
they did not fix the problem. If there have been Avahi updates since, I
have installed them by default but didn't notice them. See my post above
09/01/2008. I still don't know why everything started suddenly to work,

Thank you for the fix - it will save me a lot of hassle from users.

So, after multiple restarts of the print server and clients, everything
continues to work fine.
This is before applying the suggested changes to CUPSYS of this morning,
which I propose to do today. I'll report back.

update printing did not work as I described above.
Would you have an explanation for this behaviour?
I have now applied the security updates, as mentioned by Kees, which
updates CUPS to 1.3.2-1ubuntu7.3, restarted the machines. Printing works
correctly.

Hi All,
I got this bug today , out of the blue, after moving a mail from the
Inbox to another folder using drag and drop. I closed Evo and reopened,
I no longer get the error! Judging from the above comments it seems to
be pretty hit and miss.
On this machine i'm on 7.04 of Ubuntu.
