Workaround:Now running a newer kernel. 2.6.29.3 is working fine.
Something in the radeon driver not interacting with GE5? Gotta find free
open source alternatives to GE, but to have user level programs crashing
the system is not good.

I can confirm that setting AccelMethod to XAA stopped the flickering.
Haven't tried setting "MigrationHeuristic" to "greedy", or downgrading
yet. I'm trying to figure out the speed differences from Intrepid
xserver. FWIW, I'm getting the same fpu rate from glxgears, not that
that's the most accurat
I have the exact same issue after upgrading from intrepid to jaunty on
my t60 with x1300 Mobility. I notice especially when scrolling anywhere
on screen, the flicker is always on that right hand side.

Same issue in the same timeframe on my T60 with ati graphics. Flashing
cursor in the top left and no response to alt sysrq key combos upon
resume. This happens every two or three suspend/resume cycles.
Suspend/resume was great from Alpha5 until I think around the 2.6.27-3
update. Will post some dm
