I just encountered another instance of this bug - I got notified a few days ago
that my releases (12.4) is EOLed, ant was offered to upgrade, since I couldn't
attent the upgrade at that time, I chose to upgrade later and closed the update
manager window.

1:2.20.0-0ubuntu7.1), and its the same as I described before, if it was
fixed in Hardy that's fine by me, but "permission was denied" doesn't
sound like enough information at all, it doesn't give you a hint that a
".trash-x" directory needs to b
