I have Ubuntu 8.04 - the Hardy Heron on my laptop and finally I managed to install the webcam but unfortunately Pidgin has no support for video chat so I searched the net and I found Kopete. I instaled, configured the account, on Yahoo messenger, and tried to connect, it connects but after 2 seconds it disconects with the following message:
17 remote host closed connection I am using a wireles conection that has a small problem, at startup is not working, i have to plug out and plug in the PCMCI wireles card and after that is ok.
