I thought that "libv4l" was working on supporting DVB cards. Sorry if it

I have this device on the new laptop "Toshiba Qosmio F750"
I saw that all other devices from this manufacturer "UAN High-Tech
Development Co., Ltd " are supported by the same firmware "dvb-usb-
dib0700-1.20.fw". I wonder if this devices will work also with the same
firmware... but, How can I try?
I mailed the developer of "brltty" about this bug and he has proposed
the next solution:

As you can see in my previous message the problem was fixed but I have

I have reinstalled the driver and everything seems to be ok.
I think Ubuntu should notify you when you update the kernel (and you are using
not-supported-drivers) that you have to reinstall them. Ubuntu must handle this
kind of situations better.
Anyway, thanks for the information!

Network Manager unable to connect to PPTP VPN (bad NT-Domain escaping)

Ok, now it works.
Maybe an update has fixed it because I'm sure that there were no others
problems (no errors on bluetooth devices, just ubuntu) before. And I
wasn't the only one with this of problem. But now (and I don't know how)
it is fixed.
