I tried to delete and recreate the calendar but after I am asked to type
in the login credentials I get the same problem where the login prompt

I noticed that if I fiddle ALOT with the enable networking/enable
wireless settings on the applet I can sometimes get NM to recognise that
I have my phone connected and gives me the option to connect to my
mobile network.
this only seems to work 5% of the times I change these settings.
