I can not say exactly when but a recent update in Lucid causes the
volume slider panel applet button so show very dark in all dark themes
including Ambiance.

Just tried to install some extensions with OpenOffice and running on
(9.10). Using the OpenOffice tool (which takes you to their site) I am
only able to download the extension to disk. In other versions of OOO I

Various errors in /usr
The problem with the scrollbar and scale errors has been identified @
lines 63 & 64 in the gtkrc. These are non fatal errors which should not
affect the operation of the theme. Murrine syntax changed in the later
release from style to profile.
I will correct these errors and test for usability.

Although I'm not using an iMAC, I am using a wide screen monitor
(1920x1200) and the logo is stretched. :( I do not have knowledge of the
number of wide screen monitors in use by the community but they
certainly appear to be the trend in the LCD market.

Thanks for the follow up. At this time (8/2008) the log out sound does
not play. However this may be a Gnome issue as I noticed this is the
case with openSuSE/Gnome 11 as well. It may also be true with Linux
MINT.

Update to this bug
It appears to be the size of the audio clip and not the type. Small
"wav" files play as expected.
Large audio clips (> 1 minute) of any format causes problems.
