hmm, well it could be something like that. Because I had a stock karmic install then I did a installed 32rc8 from a ppa, then I did distro upgrade to Lucid Lynx. I thought doing the distro upgrade would set things to default lynx kernels. Darn, I guess I'll do fresh install of Lucid(unless I
