I'd like to confirm that alltray_0.69-1ubuntu2~ppa1_i386.deb fixed the

However, on hardy, trying to place streamtuner into the tray-bar by pin-

I can confirm this on hardy with a 2.6.24-16-generic kernel. I bet it's
related to the currently broken nvidia-glx-new package.

Sad. Who can we terrorize to get a decent support here? There's no

Agreed. Now having upgraded to Hardy, it's simply annoying. Seems like
it's best to always be one release behind the official schedule so as to
not mess up your current system with a distribution upgrade. And it's
not only pulse that is in very bad condition ..

Excuse the spam, please remove my posts if you like.
Looks like it's a vpnc regression. Package: vpnc
(0.3.3+SVN20051028-3ubuntu2) from Edgy is working perfectly. Doesn't
seem to be a N-M problem in my view.

I can confirm this for gnome-panel(-dbg) 2.16.1-0ubuntu3 and xmms-status-plugin
1.0.0-3. The distro is the release candidate of Edgy. The bugreport goes as
attached.
The bug seems to be related with the balloon popup. But that could just be a
side effect.
Hope this helps a bit.

I can confirm problems with an USB mouse too. Same kernel version, the

Yes. I tried most of the models listed in ALSA-Configuration.txt and acer.
I also just noticed that alsamixer of 1.0.12rc1 identifies the codec as ALC883
whereas dmesg mentions ALC882.
