Appeared on up to date ubuntu oneiric 32bit.
postgres 9.1 was running on port 5433, as there was an old postgres 8.4
listening on port 5432. After I purged postgres 8.4 via aptitude, I changed in
/etc/postgresql/9.1/main/postgresql.conf the line
port = 5433

I tried opening a very large text file in gedit. It's about 2MB big,
most of that stored in a single line (see attachement "Auc-
ScanData.lua").
It seems to me that this long line gets printed over and over again, see
screenshot attachement.

Thanks for Your answer. Yes, no harm was done, but still this does not look
like it's meant to be ;-) .
Maybe the screensaver should be disabled by default (when doing a
do-release-upgrade/ when doing a do-release-upgrade via ssh/...) ?
