I agree, this should be removable without removing everything in
ubuntu-standard.
This will make it not start:
update-rc.d -f ufw remove

I've built the latest version 1.5.5 of git from source with #define
USE_CURL_MULTI and the error does not happen.

I can confirm i am having the same issue in Gutsy x64 7.10
Here is the error i receive in my /var/log/messages

Confirmed with Gutsy x64. The above fix worked.

already changed the font path.
