I was unable to reproduce this issue on my Focal system, `sudo apt
install gmic gimp-gmic` worked without any issues. In case some of the
packages or updates are out of sync, could you please run `sudo apt

Doomsday 2.2.2+ds1-1 is now possible to find and install through Gnome
Software on Ubuntu Focal. Didn't find an explicit mention of this in the
changelog, but I assume the 2.x version fixed the metadata.

I've looked at this it and I think the difference might be due to the
programs focusing on different things when it comes to changelogs.
For update-manager you are getting a newer versions of packages already
installed. The focus here is on what the changes include, which issues
are involved and

In general, newer versions are packaged in newer Ubuntu releases. They
are sometimes backported, but older releases are mostly unchanged except
for security issues or critical bugs. See
