The attached file (testing.odg) demonstrates the problem. I also tested
the file on osx system and the problem persisted even there suggesting
it's actually a libre office bug. Details are as follows: The file,
testing.odg, contains one custom graphic style called testing. Styles
and formatting

Creating and modifying graphic styles works except for renaming a style.
After document close/open the style name gets reset to what it was when
first created.
