Have we actually some real world results with the new mic ducking?
Is "too quit" still an issue then ?
If so, it does not hurt to add the mic gain.

I'm using Rubberband 1.8.1 on OSX (See backtrace), and it crashes too. You dont
even need a controller to make it happen. Just load a track to a deck, do not
start the playback, just do a right-click scratch on the waveform display.
Instantly crashes with "Floating point exception: 8"

/30-spideroak.conf was also a problem for me. There was a newline
before EOF, but I had to change fs.inotify.max_user_watches from 65536
to 65535, and then was able to install procps.

Try to change the latency and/or the the Samleratein Preferences > Sound
Hardware , the recording is totally distorted.
Also check if you use the recommended Sound API, see

Current trunk crashes hard (even host machine) under Ubuntu 10.10 with Gnome in
a VM on skin change, gt4-demo freeze the VM.
Interestingly the same VM with KDE does not crash, same for the gt4-demo
although i have the ghost effects as described in #35 then.
