(I'm using Debian squeeze 6.0.6, but this should still work for Ubuntu.)

Apport generated this report. I am not sure what it detected. I know
that hibernation is not working at the moment. I tried to do that before
shutting down the computer as a last resort. Perhaps it tried to boot
from hibernation but realized it never made it into that state?

I've done what Kim did, except after a hibernate and resume (while
evolution was running) it happens again. The imap server is on localhost
(which was dovecot, and so that too was hibernated and resumed too). I
really don't want to move away stuff again because that would make
evolution to refetch

well, either my X61 doesn't like booting usb drives or usb-creator fails
to create one properly, but I just can't seem to boot from usb. I am
leaning towards the former because in BIOS when I configure the boot
order there's a minus sign in front of USB HDD.
Anyhow, I tried! But I can't test this.

X61 don't have CDroms, the dock has one but since this requires taking
the laptop out of the dock we can't use that either.
Incidentally, according to the thread which starts at http://www.mail-

I've taken a look at that branch recently, it doesn't change the
existing APIs but adds quite a few, so we can do it in a minor release.
However, there are also quite a few problems (silly memory management,
bloated api) so it's not something that can just be merged.

I have a Acer AM5620-E1204A (Quad core desktop) which got the Intel
e1000e card (Intel Corportation 82566DC-2 Gigabit Network Connection

The upstream bug was closed due to too much time spent in "Pending", not
because of fixed. Maybe someone wants to do the launchpad magic to

fair enough, I did killall trackerd and --reindex, when the cpu becomes
idle again I did tracker-status:
$ time tracker-status
Tracker daemon's status is �Ë.
