The email client is set to 'sensible-ooomua' in LibreOffice however
there is no such utility installed, only sensible-editor, sensible-pager
and sensible-browser (as of Ubuntu 11.04). Nevertheless this magic word
will start Evolution. But if I change this to 'sensible-ooomuB', then it
will fail.

I've done a fresh reinstall of Xubuntu 10.10 (not an Ubuntu + xubuntu-
desktop install) and the screensaver is fine.

When I manually started Applications/Settings/Screensaver it warned me that a
Gnome screensaver daemon is running (and I had to shut it down to have
XScreensaver to work properly).

I don't know if it affects the outcome, but I was in the process of
trying out window managers.
First I installed Ubuntu with Gnome, then installed LXDE, then installed
xubuntu-desktop.
I will try to recreate the bug, if possible (I suspect that a simple
Xubuntu install will not reproduce the

I can confirm that cpufreq-selector has strange behavior in Ubuntu
10.04.
cpufreq-selector never hangs, it is just very slow if issued this way: 'sudo
cpufreq-selector -c 1 -g performance'
I noticed that it takes almost exactly 30 seconds to finish the operation,
which is strange.
$ time sudo c
Thunderbird, Krusader file view printing dialog has the "Remember"
check-box. Also noticed when the dialog box active, Firefox uses 100%
CPU until I press either OK or Cancel.
