I have the same problem, also Feisty. After network settings are change
through Manual Configuration the nm-applet displays the disconnect and
reconnect to the network. Since DHCP related daemons won't be killed
during reconfiguration, the IP address is obtained from the DHCP server.
ifdown IF;
-shutdown,
restart and pressing the JESCS button again another crash followed.
