even looked at, because it can be reproduced directly from the terminal:

I have Lubuntu 16.04 which uses lubuntu-desktop. That pseudo-package includes
liblz4-1 (= 0.0~r131-2ubuntu2).
I am now trying to install iRedMail_0.9.6 by means of its bash script, which
calls for liblz4-tool to be installed.
But instead of having the dependency liblz4-1 (
dpkg: error processing package linux-generic (--configure):
dependency problems - leaving unconfigured

After using autokey to fill Firefox 28 form fields, the keyboard characters
become corrupted.
As I type this, sometimes nothing appears when a key is pressed, and on repeat
of the key an "r" appears, which take
Lubuntu 13.04 had this problem with 3.8.0.28-generic (i386) a couple of weeks
ago affecting 3 machines on my LAN.
A reboot found the MBR was corrupt on 1 of 3 machines, so maybe something else
caused that.
It happened again with 3.8.0-29-generic this week.
