some time the whole laptop gets randomly locked and two LEDs light up on
the left-bottom side of the laptop (beside CPU-led and HD-LED). After

now, whenever I start a task or send off something, instead of what Windows
does while it's loading (Hourglass) the mouse just hangs for a second or two
Same here, I am using a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo A7460 and I had bought this
laptop to work on it for at least another three years, but it seems for Ubuntu
it is already outdated.
I know that it should be possible to fix the issue, because 3D works wihtout
any problems on Windows and even Vista

makes it really hard to enjoy Ubuntu, except if you install the 32bit version.

I also have a SIS M760 Chipset on a Fujitsu Siemens Computer with a
64bit Turion processor. Under 64bit Ubuntu the splash screen appears to
be gray and ugly and hardware axxeleration doesn't work at all.
