To update system I launched "ubuntu update manager". It has problem with
initrd creation.

In my case Update Manager created kernel image. I created initrd using:
mkinitramfs -o [file_name] [kernel_version].
One important thing, do not create initrd file with default name (like:
initrd.img-2.6.27-8-generic), because when you run Update Manager to install
other software updates
