As far as I know, this upstream bug fix for a
href=https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46976;Xserver 1.11+
reports absolute valuator.values for relative devices/a leaves some
wine games (and possibly other programs) with erratic mouse movement.

In Ubuntu 8.04.1, mplayer package 2:1.0~rc2-0ubuntu13, -fixed-vo does
not function properly. fixed-vo is supposed to initialize a maximum of
one window when playing multiple files. To demonstrate a simple example
of it being broken:
