While moving mouse from one icon to another or from an icon to the

The errors regarding missing files (stderr) I had cause the project
changed since I've tried the first time. however, if I remove all non-
exiting files from the project and remove the ones that have problems, I

It's reproducable so far, that I still cannot burn a DVD.
1. Start Braseros
2. Create a new data project
3. add some files (2 folders with a lot of subfolders)
4. Wait that space left is calculated
5. Set CD title to "Data and Pics"

I could fix the thing. I did the following stuff:
- dist-upgrade
- apt-get autoclean
- apt-get purge
After restarting, all was fine again (gdm) shows up fine. I don't know
which of this steps fixed it.

Addition to #6: I was also trying different terminals (tty1 to tty5), which
ends up somehow in stopping flickering (I can't reproduce yet).
However, when switching back wit Ctrl+Alt+F7, flickering starts again.

While having these freezes, does anybody run simple backup? I did a new
installation and I could work 2 days very well without any freeze
(converting videos, looking movies, using transmission, ...). Today I've
enabled again simple backup to do my backups in regular intervals. While

I have the same effect: randomly freezes. Today I had to do a reboot by switch

Well I tried to remove firefox (apt-get purge firefox) and reinstall
firefox. This doesn't work. I found out, that
