It may be intentional, but it is clear that a number of people do not
recognize what you are attempting. It might be better to have a text
message associated with the pictures. In addition, not hitting a key
takes you to a "can't install" error message which does not seem
appropriate.

In trying to discover what causes the problem I discovered that when the
application is pulled 2/3 the way onto the right panel (panel0) the
window list will display the icon for the open application (firefox or
whatever application is open) if I move it to the left screen it

On startup with a dual screen setup all four panels end up on screen 0.
The panel were originally setup two to each monitor, one top and one
bottom. I can set them up so they are correct but upon the next
startup both are on the screen 0.
I have attached a strace of the gnome-panel while the problem was
occurring. Hopefully this will help.

I also compiled the new KDar version 2.10 for use with Hardy Heron and
have not had any problems with it. I would agree that KDar should be
re-integrated into Ubuntu Hardy. It is a very usefull program.
