For the record I've also verified that personally with the following
steps:
1. Verify -proposed by installing the "-proposed" noble OEM image track and
test the audio functions.
2. Run do-release-upgrade and upgrade to oracular.
3. Enable -proposed in oracular, install the proposed firmware-sof-s
ODM tested with the following procedure for both noble and oracular
linux-firmware:
1. Enabled the -proposed channel and install the linux-firmware.
2. Test the built-in speakers and mics.
And confirmed that both audio record and playback function normally.

Trying to install UBUNTU 24.04 LTS 64 bit
Tried loading with standard, and updated version, ending with the same error.
Tried loading the standard version without internet access, but ending with the

I obeserved the dbus method call on Noble with:

For g-c-c, it simply powers on the adapter:

Hello all,
I have exactly the same use case: same Ubuntu versions, we're using Packer to
build VM with UEFI without secure boot and store it as a template in a VMware
vCenter, and we're using Ansible for an updates.
Getting the same error:
