Hi, as I indicated, it's not a problem for me any more because I
replaced the symlinks manually. So it doesn't matter to me, but I would
recommend that you double check mythtv's dependencies in the latest
Ubuntu.
Specifically, it would be good to make sure that mythtv ends up linking
to the _r
