Sorry, but if I would be that good to let you know why I believe it is a
bug I probably would fix it.
Nevertheless I studied it and it was reported by others on the Internet
which means very little I agree.
However it occured on three of my ubuntu machines and it is not likely to
be hardware
To continue the prior email I solved the problem to move to a different
package on both ubuntu and mysql.

Every time Ubuntu updates everything installs fine except the mysql
update.
Is this perhaps that mysql is running?
Should I stop mysql before a Ubuntu update?
