@Hari - I do not.
I'm using Arch on most of my machines now, I wasn't a big fan of Unity or KDE.
The process is essentially to grab a patch for tsclient (there are a few if you
google it), grab the source with apt-get source tsclient, apply the patch
(probably with cat [patchfile] | patch -p0),
I have corrected it - even submitted a patch and was wholly ignored.
Guess I'm not in the club.

Still here in Karmic.
Even when if you edit /etc/dbus-1/system.d/xorg-server.conf to eliminate
the dbuss access denied error, you still get a blank black screen in
Xnest.

Wow, I wish the kdevelop team would wither make kdevelop4 work before throwing
out support for kdevelop3. This is highly disappointing.
I and my team have been using kdevelop3 for a rather large in-house project
(about 310k lines of code) and kdevelop4 breaks a LOT of stuff. I have

I too have been dealing with this for, well, about forever.
I touch at least 2-3 different Ubuntu machines and run tsclient from all of
them, and I got really fed up with this.
Here's a rebuilt Karmic .deb with the offending code removed (as of 1/19/2010)

makes no difference. Switching to the 2140 driver lets me print images.

The problem is that it never references the appropriate setting...
I attached a unified diff that fixes the bug, so gphpedit actually uses the
background highlight setting chosen.
For non-developers out there, to use it:
_snip__
apt-get source gphpedit
sudo apt-get install
I can confirm this.
It's shocking when a userland program crashes the entire system, for sure.

I can confirm this is happening on 2 hardy machines in my office.

I was able to fix this in feisty by replacing mdns4_minimal with mdns4.
Before:
hosts: files mdns4_minimal [NOTFOUND=return] dns mdns4
After:
files mdns4 [NOTFOUND=return] dns
Works like a charm, and I can still resolves hosts using mdns.
