I can't hear anything after I have upgraded to Karmic today(fresh
install from alpha6). Everything was working fine with 9.04. It's a 4
year old system too.
The Volume control applet lists my applications but doesn't throw any
errors. gstreamer-properties hangs upon launching

shown with icons turned off compared to when the icons for menus are turned on.
