OK. I bit the bullet (and it turned out to be not-that-painful). From
the Jammy Proposed PPA, I installed:
sudo apt install libmutter-10-0=42.9-0ubuntu8
sudo apt install gir1.2-mut
Antoine (@toniopelo), it is the same as for me. I do not have Wayland
installed (mutter) - only X11 - and an upgrade of just mutter-common and
libmutter-10-0 from the Jammy Proposed PPA does NOT fix the issue. As
soon as I try to install mutter (which I don't need or want), apt
proposes making ma

Unfortunately, the stutters in terminal have RETURNED.

I'm having the same issues after upgrading to 13.10 and prime. The
system locks most when accessing pull down menus Never happened under
bumblebee but then again i was using 304 nvidia drivers. Also does the
prime for 13.10 not have the extra menu in nvidia-settings to select
PRIME Mode? discrete
The Nexus 7 also does not emulate a mass storage device, only MTP and
PTP are supported. Using Ubuntu 12.04 I can only access a subset of the
Nexus 7's directory hierarchy related to the camera when using PTP.
Currently, setting up fuse to allow access to MTP devices is not
particularly intuitive

by grub. Take another one, not in recovery mode.
