How about fixing it without rewriting extfs? After 19 minutes
extracting and a reported 30 more to go, I quit MC and unziped the file
from the command line. Took less than a minute, so MC is definitely
hosed in how it unzips.

the '.x-systemd.automount' from fstab and rebooted. All seems to be
working well. I may compile and package it up for local install this
weekend, I don't want the other proposed packages always in my
upgradable listing.

Workaround seems good. Adding 'x-systemd.automount' to fstab mounts NFS
shares during boot.

After a fresh install of 15.10, nfs shares no longer mount on boot.
I'm using the same line to mount as I did in 14.04 prior:
:/share /mnt/share ntfs4 _netdev, auto 0 0
This line worked just fine in 14.04, and 14.10 on my laptop, to mount
the shares at boot.
Manual mount
This needs to be reopened. I just installed 15.10 yesterday, and my nfs
shares no longer mount on boot. I believe this was happening even
before updating to 4.2.0.18, but I updated immediately before checking
the system out, so can't be sure.

When I rebooted I did a 'ls /dev', noticed the proper symlinks and
though all was well. I inserted a dvd to check things out and low and
behold the symlinks disappeared. A quick 'ls /etc/udev/rules.d' showed
no 70-persistent-cd.rules file.

It seams during the driver install, it was giving a "no such line '0' in
xorg.conf" error that I overlooked. Even with this error, it reported
everything OK at the end. This was due to the blank xorg.conf file I
